BOMB SQUAD CALLED TO CHS

Just back from the scene at Columbia High School. Witnesses said the annual winter concert had barely started when the call to evacuate came around 7:20 p.m. Apparently some kind of bomb threat from across Valley Street.

Parker from Valley to Prospect was shutdown, as was most of Valley from Oakland to the South Orange line......


PATCH reported the incident also stopped NJ Transit trains between Maplewood and South Orange.....Also reports of FBI on the scene.....

Scanner indicates some residents not allowed back into homes until 9:30 p.m.
