We got the call from Superintendent Brian Osborne that schools were closed at about 5 a.m. and this e-mail around the same time:

Schools and offices are closed today due to inclement weather.
Also NJ Transit buses cancelled and trains on changed schedules. See HERE
As usual, roads cleared well. Great work
